full circle

. . .from an upward battle of struggles and emotions to a journey of healing, growth, and laughter. . .

when I kissed the moon

Entrance discovered
Lighted beams alive
Waning and hovered
Connection revived.

All distractions ignored
By its power over me
Mesmerized to the floor
Absorbing energy.

Dusty air teases
Suspension beyond
Quiet doubt ceases
To strengthen our bond.

Though love affair so old
A first: to kiss the moon
This secret never told
A demise far from soon.

Following its birth
To traverse the sky
Taking hidden worth
Black whispers goodbye.
